The only ones I...I've never had a game console. The only ones I tried were at a friend's place.
Started my gaming with need for speed 2 and tomb raider 1.
Shortly after starcraft 1.
Even so, I played very little, and only started really gaming when I came to Portugal, with UT and CS (@ age 16).

There was this game that I really liked: TFX. It was the first of all decent flight simulators, and was even used in military porjects!
The game was pretty complex, using up to 50% or more of the keyboard. It came with a pretty big manual with lots of detail, information, etc.
It was hard. I never managed to land flawlessly on an aircraft carrier (I once managed to land, but with damage to the landing gear).
So, I too miss the more complex games, and the "hefty" manuals which I read in full.

A few months ago I played the thief 1 and thief 2 games, after my sister went through them and told me the games were "great, and have that old game feeling". This ment they were hard, fun and lasting, unlike most new games that are easy, short and sometimes boring, with huge graphic details and eye candy.
Which brings me to another point, and I'll make it short: playability, fun and lasting make a game so much more valuable in my eyes than simply beautiful graphics. I don't really care about how it looks, and my favourite games all look like crap by today's standards. BUT THEY ARE FUN.Sintrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18150448789188420796noreply@blogger.com
